6) What is a Tender?

A tender is an invitation by a seller to make an offer to purchase a product or  service.  This may include Real Estate, Residential/Commercial properties, Contracts for Construction or any other type of Contracting for Services, or any other goods such as cars, trucks, bulk goods etc.

It is important to note that if you make an offer on a Tender once the Seller accepts your offer it becomes a binding agreement.  Before you make an offer on a Tender it is strongly advisable that you seek legal advise from your lawyer.
